Interview with Ezra Okuro – Got Anyalo Technologies Founder

May 21, 2019

How do you know global warming is affecting the environment?
Besides all the articles and empirical data, there are little things you can see happening.  Global Warming means the Earth’s average temperature is warming, but one of the effects is many areas will get unusual or unpattern-like weather.

Who do you hold responsible for climate change?
All 7.5 billion of us people sitting on this planet Earth.  Unfortunately not everyone understands it or knows what’s going on.  A larger percentage of that responsibility goes to corporations, government leaders, civic leaders.  Those people are 100% the most responsible.

How would you describe movements surrounding climate justice?
I think the movements are very weak.  There are some strong leaders and policy makers.  There are some strong policy in California.   Europe, Japan, Rwanda, and Costa Rica have implemented some strong policies.  In the United States, we are seeing a back track on that.  We are seeing not enough incentive from energy companies or the government to invest in these spaces.

Is there a climax situation you are anticipating with climate change?
Yea 100%  I think what I would really love to see is for the G8 and G7 Summits to put their climate change metrics in effect.  I would like to see a focus on making certain areas of the world completely dependent on renewable energy.

Are you hopeful that the climate will stabilize?
No, I wish I was.  I don’t think I ever really trusted us humans as collective.
